In the Name of Jesus

Do all in the name of Jesus (Col 3;17)
All whatsoever you do in word or in work, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, giving thanks to God and the Father by him. (Col 3;17).

And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. (MARK 16;15-18).

And these signs will accompany those who believe: in my name they will cast out demons; they will speak in new tongues; ESV  let me rewrite this same verse without the punctation, "And these signs will accompany those who believe in my name they will cast out demons" Who are the one's that will cast our demons those who belive in his name.

We can do nothing but when we ues the name of Jesus, Jesus himself doeth the works through us.

Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey all that I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” (Matthew 28;18,19).

We are to baptise in his name, that is make disciples in his name also. we use his name in baptism because when we do we "invoke" the name this means Jesus himself baptises us into his very own family, the family that bears his name.

Notice too that Jesus did not say "repeat this" no! he was telling us to "do it!" Baptise in his name. Because only the name of Jesus carries authority to wash away sins and baptise a man or woman. no man can do it in his church name or denominational name or his own personal name. If he did nothing would happen the person would only get wet, but baptism when Jesus does it, remits a man from all sins becauses its performed by the believer in the name of the one who has all "authority" in both heaven and earth to forgive sins.
